NEW MENS KSUBI++++

We're pretty excited about a little (not really, they're pretty HUGE now) company from Australia by the name of Ksubi! We just got in a couple of styles for men and women. I'm posting the mens now and i'll toss up the womens in a bit. Check it out!

These are her favorite things.







I don't know specifically why she likes these, so I'll just write a little something myself.

1. Nudie Slim Kim in White Embo, $225. The greatest Slim Kim of all time. Really. Just ask any Denim Bar staffer. We all have them. First was Beckah, who was brave enough to special order these straight from Nudie. Then I copied her because, well, look at the jeans! When I started working at the Bethesda store, Dave (web manager), Erin (store manager) and Lisa (part-time staffer and full-time cutie) started sweating them and were fully ready to special order them when - thank god! - Nudie sent us a bajillion for the Nudie/Styleforum/DB party last month. Now we're all geeks with the same jeans. Laura and Mike included.

2. Ksubi Skinny Pins in Guitar Print, on sale! $150. The first time I actually met Laura was when I sold her these jeans. It was a few months back, right after they were shipped to us. She wanted to try on Nudie, Denim Birds, Ksubi...basically anything I loved, so I immediately loved her. I wanted to get them for myself, but the print embarrasses my geetar-playing boyfriend. Now I really can't get them because Laura has them, and as much as I don't mind having the same clothes as my friends, the enormous guitar print is pretty memorable. I'll just stick to the colored Ksubis (all 50% off, by the way).

3. Splendid Ombre Stripe Front Button Dress in CLS, $126. We're almost out of stock on this dress. It looks like the most ill-fitting thing on here, but it actually fits pretty much like a dream. Its a bit looser through the middle and then tight at the skirt. Beware of how sheer it is though; the first time I tried it on, we went outside to take pictures because it was so beautiful and sunny. Basically, Mike now knows what my bare bum looks like.

These are my favorite things.







1. Joe's Polly Dress in Lemon, $190. I'm not one of those girls who can wear loose fitting dresses and feel sexy. Usually I feel like an infant. But in this dress, I feel like a sexy infant. Um. It's also crazy short, but that's how I like my dresses.
2. Rachel Mara Tunic Dress in Black, $242. In between tornado outbreaks and thunderstorms, DC days can be freaking HOT. Yesterday it was like 95 degrees with about 3000% humidity. So if I can find something to wear that doesn't cling to sweat, I love it. Hence, my adoration for this Rachel Mara jaint.
3. Ksubi Super Skinny Zip in Tangerine, $215. Do not let the picture fool you. These jeans are not hot pink. They're more of a coral hue and the dopest fit Ksubi has to offer. I have them in hot pink, actually. Purple too. I would own every color they make if I didn't have things like rent and student loans and a desire to change my hair color every 6 weeks.
4. Nudie Slim Kim in Flat Indigo, $225. I love Nudie. More than any other brand, pretty much. I love them on me. I love them on you. I love them on everyone. Your mom would look great in a pair. Maybe she'd like this Slim Kim. It's a low rise, but I heard your mom's easy, sooo...
5. Nudie Thin Finn in Clean Steel, $249. This wash is siiiiiiiick. If it came in a Tight Long John or High Kai, I would wear it everyday. But it's a Thin Finn, and I look stupid in that fit. Luckily for me, my boyfriend and all of our friends love this jean, so I'll just stare at them until Nudie makes my dream pair.
