Relaunched in 2007, CFDA runners-up Nicole and Michael Colovos (most known from their previous denim line, Habitual) were chosen to run the Helmut Lang brand thanks to a combination of street edge and minimalism. They’ve been able to put their own point of view into the line while still staying true to the brand's clean and modern roots.
