You are stupid if you don't go to Rock & Roll Hotel this Friday. VHS or Beta is headlining, so of course you're already going because of that little gem. If you're smart, though, you'll get there extra early and catch my friend Jake's band US Royalty. You may know Jake from denimbaronline.com. Look at that, a model and a rockstar.
I'm not plugging them because he's my friend. Believe me, I have friends in crappy bands that you will never hear me talk up; I'm telling you to see them because they are so unbelievably amazing live I die a little every time they play. Which has only been three times so far. Check them out on myspace or, if you're local, see them live this Friday, April 11th.
